Meet Our Pastor
Pastor Marjorie Kornegay
Pastor Marjorie Kornegay is a passionate and dedicated servant of God whose ministry is built on faith, purpose, and love for people. She preached her initial sermon on July 2, 2006, at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Wallace, North Carolina, under the leadership of Pastor Michael H. Maddox. From that moment, she knew her calling was to teach, uplift, and guide others toward a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
On November 2, 2014, Pastor Kornegay began pastoring Destiny Fellowship Worship Center, a ministry founded by Dr. Arthur Kornegay, Jr. Since stepping into this leadership role, she has devoted herself to helping individuals grow spiritually, build strong and wholesome relationships, and live out their God-given purpose within the community.
She believes that true discipleship begins with spiritual maturity and a commitment to living holy lives. Her leadership emphasizes prayer, fasting, and spiritual development—tools she believes are vital for both personal and church growth.

Her vision for Destiny Fellowship Worship Center is for it to be remembered as “a small church with a Big Heart”—a place where the gospel is taught, the truth is preached unapologetically, and every person is welcomed with compassion and care.
Through her ministry, Pastor Kornegay continues to inspire others to grow in faith, serve with purpose, and live with a heart committed to advancing the Kingdom of God.
